Working with colleagues, he developed the Advanced Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory (AIRLab), to give fourth-year undergraduates&nbsp;the experience of working on a research project in an interdisciplinary team.&nbsp;</p> <p>President’s Teaching Award winners receive an annual professional development allowance of $10,000 for five years, and are designated members of the 91³Ô¹Ï Teaching Academy for at least&nbsp;five years.
