Christine Allen elected to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering
Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy Professor Christine Allen has been elected to in recognition of her distinguished and continuing achievements in medical and biological engineering.

The College of Fellows comprises the top two per cent of medical and biological engineers. Allen was recognized for her contributions to the development of polymeric micelles and advancement of drug delivery technology in academic and industrial research.
Her research in drug delivery and disease diagnostics is not only driving knowledge and innovation, shes also training the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists who will transform how diseases are diagnosed and treated, ultimately improving the health of Canadians and people around the world, said Professor St矇phane Angers, associate dean, research at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy.
